Marty and Tammy Ellis have been involved with horses and ranching for many years. Even before they established MT Ranch at its present location, Tammy instructed students in riding and horsemanship.  While working to expand their herds of grass-fed beef cattle, the Ellis family welcomes those with similar interest to their ranch.  

Tammy has competed in numerous trail-ride competitions with organizations such as Equine Trail Sports, ACTHA, (American Competitive Trail Horse Association), TTC (Texas Trail Challenge), and NATRC (North American Trail Ride Conference). She has trained students and horses for competition, and both she and her students have brought home ribbons for their performances.
